Batlokwa Ba Mokgalong
as the senior tribe, form part of one of the tribes that appear within the larger and Ancient and native Batlokwa nation that trace the origin from their
parents Kgosigadi MmaThulare and Kgosi Kgwadi Tabane. Mokgalo who is the father of the tribe gave birth to
a number of clans and family that are originally found in their native Orange Free State Colony. And later in
the Eastern Cape and Kwazulu-Natal due to shrewd land dispossessions and merciless forceful removals in OFS
Colony.
Our Mission
We endeavor to revive the cultural events, leaving a virtual footprint on the social
media platforms, creating economic networks and encouraging internal trade
within and with Batlokwa companies and most importantly acquiring and securing
our ancestral land.
Objectives
• Consolidate the annual events calendar of Batlokwa ba Mokgalong in the Free State,
Kwazulu-Natal & Eastern Cape.
• Development of the website of the Batlokwa ba Mokgalong Non-Profit Company as the primary
home for all the various social media platforms as a way to communicate with Batlokwa across
the globe.
• Mobilizing and generating funds within and externally to achieve the objectives and creating
revenue for the advancement of the interest of the Batlokwa ba Mokgalong Non-Profit Company
observing clear and transparent accounting practices.
